It is essential that the consumer is a fully recognised stakeholder and that its concerns are taken into account in the Network research activities to improve the food quality and safety.
The EADGENE Network facilitates the trans-national consumer dialogue, to enable people from different European cultures, generations and social backgrounds to exchange their viewpoints. Futhermore, general public was consulted on all aspects of food safety and their expectations as to the food quality and safety.
